Wine bars & bistros in Sydney?

Will be in Sydney at the end of the month for three nights and would love recommendations for wine bars or bistros in the CBD/Rocks/Circular Quay area that have tasting flights and/or a good selection of Australian wines by the glass. Would really like to taste some wines we can't get at home. If they serve tasty nibbles to go with the wine that would be even better. Suggestions appreciated, thanks in advance.

The Argyle at 12 Argyle St. in the Rocks has always been a great place to hangout.

Google The Lord Nelson, an old pub at the top of Kent St, The Rocks. They brew some of their beers & gd selection of wines

Due to liquor laws in NSW, you don't find many small wine bars in Sydney. The bars tend to be large. Different laws have led to Melbourne having a different wine culture.

There has been a lot of discussion about this lately. http://tinyurl.com/279bz7

If you want to taste wine by the glass for free then try to find someone who will drive you to the Hunter Valley. Overnight is better but a day trip is feasible.
