Will Hamilton Island have stinger jellyfish in March?

We're staying on Hamilton Island March 14-18 and hope to swim in the cove next to the Reef View hotel. Will that be a problem with the dangerous stinger jellyfish? Or do they rope off a safe area?
Thanks
Sue

www.qldbeaches.com/stingers.html gives details of beaches with stinger nets and Hamilton Island isn't one of them. I think the nearest would be at Airlie Beach, but haven't been down that way for a while.

It is still stinger season in Whitsundays in March, if I were you I'd be using the resort swimming pool besides going out further to the Great Barrier Reef.
