When and where are the best places and times to see wildflowers in Western Australia?

Just like to enquiry what's is the cheapest ways to spend a month holiday in Australia?
What I need is just a motel, safe and cheap.
Can anyone advise me on this mthis question???

We went to Perth in mid August and they were just starting. We went slightly East of Perth and up to Geraldtown and then back down the coastal highway. As well as passing many flowering plants and shrubs on the way south make sure you drive into see the Pinnacles. They are fantastic and so unusual.

I bus passed Australia for two months. Was in Perth in late September. Just as here, it depends on the weather when the wild flowers are best. I got the brochures , and looked for wild flower tours. I took every one they had that went to diffrent places. There were a few that were near done their blooming but on the whole I saw about all the ones frome that area.

Hello I'm from Perth in WA and can tell you a bit about the wildflower season. Probably the best months can be anything from July to September. It really depends on what you want to see. A lot depends upon our upcoming Winter season and how much rainfall we get. Bushfires play a part as well. If an area has been burnt out then there's a good chance nothing much will be around. It does create a lot of regenerative healing power but isn't evident for a couple of seasons after the fire. We do have some magnificent flowers to boast, such as the amazing Kangaroo Paw, bottlebrush, acacias, banksias.... Driving through the Gascoigne area you'll see miles of flowers stretching to the horizon, it really is quite spectacular. I hope you have a great time when you come. Visit King's Park which is just on the edge of the CBD, you'll see many of the wildlowers in a park environment, not to mention the million dollar views of the city, river and surrounds. Perth is a beautiful city with a lot to offer. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!
