which island? I only have 4 days.

I will only be in Tahiti for 4 days/nights before going on to Sydney.
Which Island should I go to? Bora Bora? Moorea? Raitiea?

Can anyone tell me what the distances are to each island from Papatee and how to get there?

With that short a time, I would definitely go to Moorea. You will need to fly or take a long boat trip to Raitea or Bora Bora, but it is a quickie run (no more than an hour or so) to from the ferry dock in Papeete to Moorea. Moreover, there are about 6 different ferries, ranging from modern fast catamarans to old slow vehicle ships, so you have lots of choices of sailing times. There are lots of places to stay, and plenty to do in terms of sightseeing, hiking, swimming, diving, sailing, etc.

We went to four islands, Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Rangiroa. If you ask me which one I loved the most I would say Rangiroa and the stay at the Sauvage. But if you were to ask me which one I would feel like I missed out if I didn't see, it would Bora Bora and the Sofitel Motu. I would do some research about the hotels and islands. It will become clear where you HAVE TO stay. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help. Send me an e-mail through our website www.tahiti.wunschl.com

I would definitely recommend spending the time on Moorea and can recommend the Sheraton Resort. It is a very beautiful and lush island and you will enjoy your stay.

Tiffany, Read your Epions and looked at your web page. Wow! Excellent reviews. Would like to talk more as I plan for FP. Can't figure out how to send you an email through you web page - no "feedback" option. Please send me an email at [email protected] Thanks

Depends on what you are looking to do. If you want to be active and stare a lush mountains, take the ferry to Moorea and stay at the Sheraton - it blows away every other resort on that island, I don't care what anyone says. If you want to hang by the pool and eat fresh fruit and warm cookies at 2 pm everyday while staring out at the most incredibe water you will ever see - fly to Bora Bora. And if you do so, stay at the Bora Bora Nui.
