Where to stay in the Blue Mountains
 

We are planning a 2 day trip to the Blue Mountains from Sydney in December. We will have a campervan, where would be a good place to stay? Oberon? Any suggestions welcome! Thanks

Do a search for Caravan Parks in the Blue Mountains and you will be able to determine whether they have what you need/want in the way of facilities. Oberon is a way out from the main stream areas of the Blue Mountains although it is nearer to the Caves. Our resident expert on the Blue Mountains does not seem to post here anymore otherwise I would suggest you ask Alan as he would have been able to give you the best information. He still does write on
Trip Advisor though I think so you may want to post on that forum.

Thank for for the advice on Trip Advisor, I didn't even know they had a forum. I have just had a look and it seems to contains lots of interesting info.

Leura Caravan Park is a nice clean park and would be a good place to stay.
