Where in NZ are these places?
 

On a flight, I put on one of those travelog videos of NZ. But there was no narration or captions so there were some places I didn't recognize.

Anyone recognize these places?

I'm just guessing, but the first one looks sort of like Kaikoura.

Ah yes, I've been to that lookout a couple of times but usually in the summer so the foliage isn't as green.

The 'Aerial NZ' episode that we watched today featured Kaikoura, so the imagery was immediately familiar.
We've never been to NZ, SCRB, but could still recognize it above in your pictures!
Btw, our old friends are now retired and are trying to move from the big city out to Hastings.
