What time does the Sun set in Sydney?
I know it is the end of spring, Our days up north are longer in the spring and summer.
We will be in Sydney and Cairns in 2 weeks!! Any weather, time temp info is helpful. Thanks Bunches Sun |
Sydney's sunrise and sunset times:

The state of New South Wales (in which Sydney is located) observes daylight savings time in the southern hemisphere summer, whereas the state of Queensland (in which Cairns is located) sticks with standard time year-round. Here's a website that describes Sydney's climate: http://www.sydney.visitorsbureau.com.au/page1.html#cli and Cairns's climate: http://www.great-barrier-reef.com/vn003.html#cli |
IMHO, the sun never sets on Sydney.
AndrewDavid However it does travel the northern sky , an endless source of confusion and delight to us up overs |
The weather in Sydney is much cooler and less humid than in Cairns. We were there the end of December 2 years ago.

when it's good and ready!

Margo, the sun always sets just before dusk, every day of the year!
It Queensland, where I live the %#%%*&@ sun sets far too early 'cause we don't have Daylight saving, because some Queenslanders want to belong to the "Flat Earth Society with the Fading Curtains". Now if you Americans thought that your Hillbillies were behind the times just ask me some of the reasons people have for not having daylight saving in my State where I have to endure waking up with the sun in mid-summer at 3.30AM ! |
Its to facilitate the Queensland state sport: Getting up with the chickens
