Yeah Muck, that was me! They let me out of the village a couple of times a week to do a bit of charity work. Usually I'm dressed as a Koala collecting for WWF, waving outside car washes or wandering down Bourke St.mall with a sandwich board advertising Dunkleys Diamonds. Anyway, they said if I promised to take a few extra valiums, I could do the footy gig. Anyway, I forgot & when the old girl trotted over I thought "why not"? We sort of looked like we might be kindred spirits, ya know, so reckoned a bit of a dance would be ok.
Dunno what's wrong with them big bruisers in the yellow & black flack jackets - no sense of humour or romance at all! Anyway, it'll be a while before they let me out again, I reckon. Probably a good thing 'cause me foot's still pretty sore. She might be pretty, but she ain't much of a dancer. So, that's why I reckoned "she" must have been you in drag. Well, that & the red 5 O'clock shadow on her chin! |
