Wesport,NZ and the northwest coast
 

I am trying to finalise my Feb itinerary for NZ (the final draft to be submitted for help and ideas in a week or so) but I was wondering what folks thought about the area above and around Wesport. Specifically, Oparara Basin, Bueller River, West Coast Wilderness Trail, etc. I was thinking about spending 3 nights to explore this area but am uncertain. There seem to be few comments on this most remote stretch of coast it is hard to be sure. From Wesport we will ultimately drive to Picton to catch the ferry. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and suggestions.
