Well, we're coming back
 

After our great trip in November/December 2007, we thought it would be a long while before we would come back to Australia again between ticket prices, grad school for me and so on.

And, we are not exactly coming back next week, but, plans are being laid for a trip in either 2009 or 2010, which really will be here before you know it.

We just can't resist you lovely folk, and after several weeks of joking, Sunday's lunch conversation got serious, and, well, we are just trying to figure out when and where. So be prepared! The questions will start appearing soon.

I think we really need to blame RalphR because his report on July in Cairns and north made us start thinking, hey, maybe that would be a really good idea!

Yippee, Toucan, I wish we could say the same. DH wants to go to South America, but I say, where's the snorkeling??? He'd really like to also go to Antarctica, but the same question applies. Plus I get altitude sick, so Australia is my pick every time. I keep talking about Perth and how we haven't been there yet, but so far it isn't working. I'll have to get him to read Ralph's trip report, heh, heh, heh.

Hi Sally, I remember our conversation over bkfst in Seattle. New Roof...or Australia? New deck?...or Argentina?

We decided that while we are indeed enjoying the new deck and screened in porch, we could also make a trip back to Australia work.

PS I did send you an email a week or so ago, but I think it went to your husband's email.

Of course I remember our breakfast. We got the new roof and man, are they expensive, and not even real wood, but a "petroleum product" so of course going up 10% each month. So we aren't going anywhere except a short, low key snorkel trip to Akumal, Mexico in Dec. And South America is in jeopardy. Send emails to me at ssimmons at msn.com and I'll get 'em.
