Weather question

Page 20 of Fodor's New Zealand 2008 shows month to month average temperatures. If an average high temperature is 90 degrees Farenheight and an average low is 50, do they show 90 (meaning the average high) or 70 (meaning the average between 90 and 50)? My email is [email protected] -- I mention this because I came up with a "screen name", when what they may actually have wanted was my email address (??). Anyway, thanks for any help.

If the average high for whatever city in New Zealand is 90, it will show on the temperature thingy as 90. It will also show the average low at 50.

When are you thinking of visiting New Zealand?

If they are consistent with their other productions the graphs will show the average maximum and average minimum temperature. The bars of each will be in different shades for each month.

Hi, Lee Ann: Thanks for your help. And following your answer it now seems obvious. Duh. But to answer your question, we haven't decided. Now that we've got the weather info, however, I'm thinking next Feb or March. Bob G.

Both months should be lovely; we went in April, which was great. It was sunny and pleasant most days - definitely not hot - with a bit of drizzle once or twice.
