Water on Atiutaki

Does anyone know whether there is fresh water on Aitutaki on the Cook Islands. We are planning to go there for a week, a 7 days of salt water showers might be a bit much.

Yes, you could drink the water from the tap at Pearl Beach Resort if you wanted to. Showers were fresh water. Fantastic place.

Peggy or anyone: Do you know if it is only this resort that has fresh water, or is it fairly universal at the various accomodations across the island? Thor

No one uses salt water for showers if that is your concern. And all have bottled water if you don't want to take the chance (or there is a downpour which can muddy the water a bit)on tap water. Don't let any of that stop you from going!

We stayed at the Maina Sunset Motel in Aitutaki and they provided bottle water in the room and shower was fresh water. This is a wonder vaction spot. Enjoy!
