Walk-in Medical clinics in Sydney--do they exist?

A question for Sydney residents.

My daughter (US citizen there for a year) has a piece of glass embedded in her foot and the skin has healed over. It is red and she needs to find someone to remove the glass and treat any infection she might have.

Are there walk-in medical clinics in Sydney? Would you give me specifics--name and location (she is in Stanmore and can get to a place via public transport--no car). If no clinics, any suggestions as to where she should go?

Thanks!

Yes they do. I am not familiar with Stanmore but I know there is a Stanmore Medical Clinic at 110 Cambridge Street ( ph. 95692213 ). I hope others can be more specific but good luck to your daughter!

The Stanmore Family Medical centre is right by the Stanmore train station. If she can still walk it should be pretty easy to get to.

Thanks to you both. I'll pass this information to her.
