If you're looking at spending that sort of money, you would be much better off at either Yasawa or vatulale. I most certainly do not think that Turtle is worth the money!

I have friends that went there a few years ago and then went back this last year and they said that it has gone down hill in service and their facilities. They food was not the greatest either.

I second the notion to save some money and go to Vatulele, Royal Davui, Yasawa, Namale, or Qamea.

Thanks ,
I am planning on a stay at the Octopus resort.

Oh dear, Mike. I hope you are not comparing Turtle to Octopus. No comparison. Octopus is a backpacker type of place. Turtle is five star. Or it was, in 2003. My friends from melbourne honeymooned there and absolutely loved it. Octopus is a great value place but the beach, the accom and food cannot compare to Turtle Island.

Lyndie,
I was not comparing the two. We have a private bure at Octopus so it should be very nice. I hope so, first time in Fiji.

I've told you before, it's a good choice for the money. Have a great trip.
