Trip Reports That Inspired You in 2011 - Australia/Pacific Edition
I hope everyone had a nice holiday! Long time, no see! I haven’t been active in the forums for some time (my toddler has kept me busy!), but I peek in when I can to see where everyone has been heading.
I’m writing a blog post for the site that reflects on some of the interesting trips Fodor’s members have taken in 2011. While several come to mind, I wanted to take the opportunity to ask for your favorites. Which trip reports stand out to you? Which one did you find so engrossing that you couldn’t wait for the next “installment”? Has one inspired you as you look to your travel plans for 2012? And while I’m at it, thanks to everyone who wrote a trip report this year. They are an extremely valuable resource for those of us planning our next adventure. |
I never read trip reports. (or travel books/magazines etc. for that matter)

I enjoy Melnq8's travels round about Perth. I believe that it has inspired several people to give Western Australia a try, when so often people concentrate on the other side of Australia. I'll come back in a moment with the name of the thread.
And, welcome back! Great to see you here again. |
Here you go, A Taste of Perth (and vicinity):
http://www.fodors.com/community/aust...d-vicinity.cfm It's really a bit of an ongoing trip report! |
Melnq8's and Songdoc's trip reports are always worth reading.
I think Fodor's needs to send me back to New Zealand so I can write another report. ;-) Lee Ann |
I have enjoyed the majority of all trip reports because you can find very good info in most.
Melnq8's reports from Western Australia have been the most helpful to me because I will be visiting that part of the country on my next visit. Happy New Year to all! |
Melnq8's reports from anywhere are always worth reading!
Pete-S reports from Venice! |
And Peter's old biking around Australia report.
