Travel agency recommendations for Matangi Island vacation.
Hello,<BR><BR>We are planning a honeymoon trip to Matangi Island in October. What travel agency did you use and would you recommend them? We have spoken with someone at South Seas Adeventures and received a quote of $3000 per person.

Hi Joseph, i have been looking at Matangi for Oct as well,,13-14,to 20-24th,,,ive been dealing with Cindy at SSA,,and shes wonderful,,the price you have seems high,,unless that includes air from where your coming from,,,im in Toronto,Can,,,you should be getting a rate of between 1100-1500US$ per week per person plus airfare,,,thats all im waiting for is beter airfare..if i can help out any other way let me know,,,and Congrats

Hi VSA,<BR><BR>We have also been speaking with Cindy at SSA and she has been very helpful. Our package does include airfare from LA to Fiji. If you subtract out our airfare than the package would be around 1500.<BR><BR>Thank you very much for your response. Maybe our paths will cross in Fiji.

If they book that resort - I trust you'll find they have the cheapest rates - including combining it with airfare.

Be careful using South Seas. I have heard that they use misleading advertising to entice visitors to the places that they represent and they are not concerned with updates or changes at these resorts. There was a big storm recently at Mantangi and ther is currently construction to repair the damage. It should be done by Oct but you should contact the resort directly at [email protected]
