Tonga Travel Report

Hi,

I recently (January 2018) traveled to the magical South Pacific paradise that is the **Kingdom of Tonga**. Unlike neighbouring countries (e.g. Fiji), Tonga remains largely undeveloped (in terms of tourism) and as such still offers a very authentic South Pacific travel experience.

While there I explored the main island (Tongatapu) along with it's capital, Nuku'alofa. I also spent time on the spectacular island of 'Eua, the sights of which are spell-binding.

The real joy of traveling in Tonga is spending time among the friendly Tongans. During my time I traveled around, visited lots of sights, checked out accommodation, restaurant and transport options and took lots of photos.

I have written a report and included my photos, which you can view here:

Fantastic report Darren.Wish I had read this a month earlier. I was to go to Tonga too from Fiji but decided against it for lack of info and enthusiasm. I stuck to Fiji.I was there over the new years.
Your pics are superb. Thanks for posting.
My TR is going on " Fantabulous Fiji ".
