We should congratulate ourselves. We have managed to reduce this thread to the same self serving crap that you can read on the Europe board.

Well done Guys....I suppose you will jump all over me now.

Cheers
David

Yeah David. Why don't you just butt out unless you have a tour group to recommend. I hate guys like you, who can't offer anything to the forum. Why don't you go out and ride your tricycle with you mates... (sorry couldn't resist. I'm getting into the spirit of this thread...) ;-)

Even more interesting is that the original poster, Judy Ryan, posted this following request last year: I wonder just who Judy Ryan is and why is she asking something which she had the answer to already?
cut and pasted
Would appreciate some suggestions

Author: Judy Ryan ([email protected])
Date: 02/11/2001, 05:25 pm
Message: I am going to Australia and New Zealand this
coming March. The group that I am going with is called Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT for short). We have one night in Sydney that is dinner on our own. Harbour Rocks Hotel or Sir Stamford Double Bay are the two hotels that we will be staying. Any unique restaurants around there that you can recommend? Also we will be having a home-hosted dinner in Tasmania. Any ideas for a hostess gift? The same dinner arrangement (on our own) is true in Melbourne
and Adelaide--any suggestions?
I will be going on to New Zealand--dinner on our own in Queenstown.
Again, any suggestions of quaint places to eat? I am looking forward to this trip!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mmmmmmmmm!! and only in November was this posted. Perhaps the answer is that someone on this thread has a hiden agenda.
This is interesting! One then would have to ask who on this post had a tour company to suggest or left a web site for a tour company. Judy2 suggested a tour company and was quite rude that anyone would suggest anything else, mmmmmm Also the petulent HiHo too suggested a web site for a tour. So we can now assume that this question was a "fake" one to get an opportunity to advertise by one of the two smart-asses! Get a bit more original Judy2

Oh get on with it...I asked others to recommend something. The one I recommended is a national geographic thing and I truly doubt that they would need to work it here...If I had been their troll I would certainly have dissapeared once it got so ugly here.

And did you hear that aliens robbed ANZ bank this morning? makes as much sense...
BTW I've noticed that richard never was here on this site until Lizf got a rebuke, then suddenly richard is her staunch defender. Could it be that Richard and LizF are one and the same person, trolling for your travel business, LizF?
Is everyone in Australia as rude and uninsightful as Judy2 or is she the exception?
I was thinking of going to Australia but if I am to encounter women like that I might as well go to a butch bar and save my money.

Judy,
I did Australia on an independent basis last March. I used swain tours. Was happy with them. They do tours and independent travel which I did. I selected my itinery and then had them put the trip together. We fine tuned it several times to get what I wanted. They are a company with an Australian staff . They are a part of Far and Wide Tours.
