i meant great barrier reef, which i'm pretty sure means cairns since i have been told i would fly into there to get to the GBR. i am going in the summer as i want hot weather. i can deal with the humidity for a couple of days... thank you for the cost projection. how long will you be in AUS? (trying to compare your trip to mine in terms of cost) i think it would have been more helpful if i spread out my topic questions, meaning spacing how when to go, where to go, etc. but i have found really helpful tips. thank you for the info.!

I will be in Australia for 4 weeks, spreading that time out across 3 primary areas. I could spend 4 weeks in any one of those areas alone! :-)
