Thinking of travel to New Zealand in 2011? Beware of the Rugby World Cup!
Sealstep's thread has prompted me to give a general caution to anyone considering travel to NZ in the second half of 2011. The Rugby World Cup will be held here during September and October (the final is in Auckland on 23 October). This will have a major impact on the availability of flights and accommodation, and accommodation costs in the main centres will increase significantly.
The dates and venues for the various games around the country can be seen at www.rugbyworldcup.com Rob. |
Yes - those All Blacks supporters will be quite feral!

No, no, margo. In this instance the gouging will be of prices, not parts of the anatomy. It's the Barmy Army mob and Continental lot that seems prepared to pay outrageous prices for everything and stuffs it up for everyone else.

We're experiencing the Barmy Army now - and they fit their description!

Yes indeed Margo, you noticed the English riff raff are with you.
Us Welsh are far better behaved. :-) |
