The whisky trail.
Hi Everyone. Travelling to Hobart next week and plan to have a day doing the whisky trail. We heard that Tassy has an award for the best whisky in the world ! Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can cover in a day and which are the best to visit. Thanks in advance

Oh lookee, the Aussies have copied the Scots and now spell whisky without an "e".
Fact is, you're best off near Tazzie's capital because there are about a dozen distilleries near Hobart. http://taswhiskytrail.com/maps/

Careful with awards - they can be easily obtained by any winery or distillery that games the competitions properly. In other words, they're no assurance of excellence.
