For Sydney beaches you're proabably looking at about 18 degrees. A bit cool for most. November to April are generally the best months for swimming in Sydney.

There is a minor typo in Paul's address. <BR>The end should be .html not .shtml. For me I would wear a wet suit as I like a minimum temperature of 27C.
