Tahiti/Poverty

Is there a lot of poverty on either Tahiti, Moorea or Bora Bora and/or is it rather rundown looking like in many parts of the Caribbean?

That's one of the great things about French Polynesia. They are poor, but they respect the land, and make the most of what they have. It's very well kept. Tahiti might not be that way. I can only speak on the other islands. Check out my travel report.

http://www.scubacharter.com/travel/F...ynesia/fp1.htm
