Sydney Regent vs.ANA

I'll be visiting Sydney for five days in october and I'm having some difficulty chosing between the following hotels; the Regent, the Ana, the Sir Stamford (formerly the Ritz) and some new luxurious apartments Quay Grand on Circular Quay. I've looked at the postings and the web sites the locations seem very similar which will offer the best service? Thanks!

Angela,
We just returned and while in Sydney stayed at the Old Sydney Holiday Inn in the Rocks. Although I was hesitant about staying at a Holiday Inn, it turned out to be a terrific location for our needs. They have a rooftop pool and hot tub with a great view of the harbor. We weren't at the hotel much during the day, but we could walk anywhere we wanted to go.

I'm not familair with the Quay Grand, but we stayed at the Quay West and loved it. Centrally located, close to the Regent, with fantasitc views.

VEry upscale, stereo, vcr, granite counters. We had a one bedroom harbout view,,and had clear view of the Opera House and of HArbour Bridge.

I know all thse hotels except the Quay Grand Apartments and don't believe the service levels would be different - all are considered the best in Sydney (Holiday Inn is obviously 2 grades lower in pricing)
Quay West is one not many people hear about but the rooms are very nice - like the others - the view depends which room and floor you get.
Only possible problem - ANA is used by japanese Tour Groups and this can make foyer a bit busy at times - you don't want to be checking out when three coach loads are there. fab hotel thoughIf I had to pick? The Ritz for a hotel, Quay West for apartments.
