Sydney Hotels

Hi, we will be in AAustalia, Fe. and part of March. Has anyone heard of the Stafford Apts. in Sydney? I found it on the website rates togo.com.au. Also has anyone stayed at the Old Sydney Holiday Inn in the Rocks? Thanks.

Hi, Eagle!
I can't comment as a patron of either hotel, but I can tell you that both are in great locations: the Stafford in Harrington St, at the top of the Rocks, and the Old Sydney Holiday Inn right in the heart of the Rocks. You could walk between them in four minutes, so I guess your choice should be based on exactly what you get in the room for your money. Whichever you choose, have a great time!

At this very moment we are staying in the interContinental on Macquarie Street. This is within walking distance of both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. This may be at the upper end of your price expectations, but a very comfortable well placed hotel

We stayed at the Westin and it was just perfect. Beautiful room, brilliant service, great price.10/10

I am not sure about this, but I wonder if the Old Sydney Holiday Inn used to be the Old Sydney Park Royal. The address sounds familiar. I stayed at the Old Sydney Park Royal and found it to be a nice hotel in the Rocks area.

Yes, that Hotel used to be a Parkroyal and is now the Old Sydney Holiday Inn.
There has been quite a lot of discussion on it, and other hotels in the area recently which you can find by doing a Search at the top of the page, if you have not already done so.
