Sydney Hotel?
 

Has anyone been to Sydney that knows about the Sir Stamford in Circular Quay and The Regent? Which hotel is better and in a good location for walking around town? <BR> <BR>Many Thanks, <BR>Karol

Hi Karol. I have stayed at the Regent. Very good location, excellent hotel, close to the Rocks area and not far from anything really. Haven't heard of the other hotel sorry, but would highly recommend the Regent. <BR> <BR>Regards, <BR>Janine

Karol, <BR>I think you will find information about the Sir Stamford that has appeared on this Forum in the past - just do a search and I am sure you will find lots about it.

Have stayed at the SS when it was a Ritz. Both locations are great - the SS is on the botanic garden and a very short walk to the Opera House. Both are surrounded by great restaurants. You can't go wrong with either in my mind. The Regent is in a busier area than the SS, and on the major road into the Rocks section of Sydney.
