Sydney - Exciting anniversary date ideas for him?

Me and my husband are coming up on our 4th anniversary in February. Every year he takes me to a fancy restaurant in the Sydney, but this year i'd like to surprise him and treat him to a romantic evening. but im not looking for another boring food and music joint, something more exciting and entertaining.

got suggestions? All ideas are appreciated!🙌❤

A classical music concert or play.
Just remembered it is Summer there. How about a picnic in a park where perhaps there is a concert or play?
An evening cruise in the Harbor?

Moved to the Australia & the Pacific Forum, corrected the tag, and added Sydney to the title.

Perhaps you might like to clarify what you mean by, "i'd like to surprise him and treat him to a romantic evening. but im not looking for another boring food and music joint, something more exciting and entertaining."

I know you're looking for suggestions, but we are not clairvoyants. Some idea of what you would /have in the past regard as "Romantic, Exciting and Entertaining" would be useful.

As would some idea of those "boring food and music joints" you have not enjoyed previously.

And some idea of your budget would help

A hot air balloon ride? A helicopter flight over the harbour?
I have heard of this company but never used them - https://www.redballoon.com.au/

wow an open roof concert sounds just about right. but are there any good ones during that time? which website do you think has the right info?

the whole point is I haven't done anything exciting him for him in the past. it was always him. so i'm really clueless here.

a chopper ride sounds like something my husband will be excited about. but I just looked it up, it's way over my budget.

There should be some outdoor concerts at Taronga Zoo during February.

Maybe a night or two in a posh Blue Mountains hotel? Not Sydney, but not too far away either.

Hayes theater is doing a musical murder mystery called “Murder for two.” It sounds like a lot of fun.
