Thanks so much for your reply Jeremy.<BR>As for your reply, aussie, of course I<BR>knew Sydney had beaches, but didn't know<BR>if they were safe for swimming.

Aussie: Both from sharks and if the water would be too rough.

Beaches are netted, lifesavers are present and I think that there has been about 1 shark attack on guarded beaches in the last 100 years but I may be wrong, it might not be any. <BR>Too rough? without knowing how capable a swimmer you are the answer is then difficult.
