What is the best means of transportation to get from Surry Hills (Cambridge Park Inn 212 Riley St) to Circular Quay/Opera House area? How long would it take?

Bus from Oxford street...20 minutes.

Pleasant 30 minute walk through hyde park and down macquarie.

What sort of rate are you looking at at the Cambridge Inn?

I have a $36 AUD travel agent rate there - that's why I figured this is probably the place to stay (would prefer the Rocks area, but costs can't compare).

This is an ok area, isn't it?

$36 ! thats legal theft for a 3* place in that location.

The area is fine...Oxford street is the traditional gay area of sydney.Cosmopolitan..Can be a little seedy at times

Surrey Hills is gentrfying has some interesting pubs and restaurants.
