Street maps of Au and NZ cities
 

I am looking for web sites that have street mapping of Australian and New Zealand cities. I am having problems finding something suitable. I would welcome suggestions.

For New Zealand, try Wises Maps

It seems pretty accurate. Good enough to get between the major bits. Though it is still about a year out of date fro Auckland as some streets are missing from the newer areas of town.

There is a great site called http://www.whereis.com/whereis/home.do which is fabulous for getting any streets etc in Australia all you have to do is type in a street name and it gives maps distance altrantive routes etc etc

NRMA is helpful. They use map data sciences which is an excellent company as well.

I generally use www.mappy.com for map searches!

I like www.maporama.com, especially the ability to make the map very large for bigger monitors. You can also apply formatting to make the results look like various classic styles -- UK A-Z, Melway, Italian, French, etc., which is silly but fun.
