stop over air flights
 
I am looking for flights that allow free stop overs (Fiji? Tahiti? Cook Islands?) between LAX and New Zealand for March 06. Any suggestions?

AIr New Zealand's South Pacific Airpass does not allow free stop;overs, but for additional cost, you can add various S Pacific stopovers, as well as internal NZ travel:

Access www.airtahitinui.com. They fly from LAX and I believe a free stopover is included in the fare.

The airtahitinui arrangement is that you can travel to Tahiti, New Zealand, and/orSydney for one price - a bit over $1100 from LAX round trip. I'm planning to go to New Zealand with a 3 day layover to snorkel in Tahiti.

I'd be interested to hear what you find, Kathie and if that sounds like a good price to others.
