Sports in November
 

Will there be any sports being played in mid November? It looks like Rugby and Australian Rules Football will be over. Any ideas?

Cricket. First Ashes test starts on November 21, at the Gabba in Brisbane. There will also be some Sheffield Shield (inter-state) games, depending on where you are and when.

There is also A-League soccer

THE Spring Carnival is on. GGs running in circles.

Melbourne Cup - First Tuesday in November.

Thanks everyone. I'll check out some of the schedules you mentioned. We will be too late for the Melbourne Cup. We will be in Tasmania from November 18th to the 23rd. I think even the town to town teams could be fun to watch since we don't really know the rules and fine points of the Aussie sports.

I imagine all football, except soccer, will be finished by November.
