Awesome photos, Songdoc. Thanks for sharing them. We are hoping to get to Tasmania on our next trip to Australia and these will give an added impetus to our plans.

Really enjoyed those. That is an angry looking critter early on!

Hey, that's my husband! hehehe

The Tasmanian devils only seemed fierce when they were eating. Otherwise, they were sort of cute.

Great photos! Those 'devils' look so cute, I know it sounds strange but they are :)

Loved your photos! We spent several weeks in Tazzy last spring and loved it.Freycinet and Cradle Mountain were our favs-such beauty.
My daughter and I fell in love with the wombats!!!

What are the furry snub nosed creatures (not the devils, what I'm thinking of are bigger.)

Lovely photos, thanks.

Wombat ? Koala ?

Wombats!
I was ecstatic to see them in the wild--for the first time.
Thanks for all the nice comments. I've been traveling and haven't checked in--and I'm getting ready to leave again!
Sure did love Tassie.
