Airline for flights within Australlia

We were wondering if their are any budget airlines that provide flights within australia. Specifically from
1) Sydney to Brisbane
2) Coffs Harbour to Melbourne
Also how can we get from Brisbane to Coffs harbour. How is the train and bus system in Australia.

airlines - virgin blue for coffs (I think you'll find coffs melbourne will require stop in sydney as well).
and virgin blue/qantas for syd brisbane. if you subscribe to both, they'll notify when they have sales, which is relatively often.

brisbane to coffs, fly with sunshine express http://www.sunshineexpress.com.au/ (not too exy) or get a bus or train or hire a car.

Buses - Most bus companies located on the east coast of Australia have a regular service to Coffs Harbour. (approx 8 hours - too many stops for my liking!)

Trains - There is a train station located in Coffs Harbour with daily services to and from Sydney and Brisbane (with stopovers in between). http://www.countrylink.info/ (train approx 5.5 hours)

train and bus ok in aus, but if time is of the essence and you can afford, I'd probably fly, or if not, hire a car and drive yourself.

Be sure to check Qantas, too. Qantas still gives a hot meal and free beer or wine on domestic flights. I'd pay an extra $10 for that.

montrealvic, I notice that you currently have (I think) 4 threads dealing with your travel options within Australia. Just a suggestion - if you have a number of questions on roughly the same topic it's generally much better to confine them to the same thread rather than start a new thread for every question. Every time you want further info, just post a "reply" to the original thread. This approach is less confusing and should produce a better result for you.
