Senior tours in NZ ?

We are interested in finding coach tour(s) around NZ next March for our parents (healthy and in their mid-70s). But they won't be bungee jumping or trekking! They plan to spend about a month including a week visiting family in Dunedin. Suggestions ?

There is an Australian tour company who specialize in tours for older people. They have a very good reputation and usually only take small groups. They are Young at Heart tours - I think their website is www.youngatheart.com.au
As well as tours within Australia they also do international tours. It could be worth your time checking them out.

Saga Holidays based in the UK spring to mind. Can't make out from their website if they offer land only as I am assuming your parents are in the US. Anyway check out www.saga.co.uk.

We have done several international tours (not NZ) with Elderhostel, and they are great.

Check out http://www.elderhostel.org/Programs/search_res.asp?Type=A&CountryCode=New+Zealand. ((R))
