Romance In Malaysia

I am going to honeymoon in Malaysia in September. Any ideas on romantic beach resorts. We don't want
phones, golf or conference hotels. A nice chalet on the beach with diving, snorkeling & Malaysian ambience is what we are looking for. I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks, Paul

It depends which part of Malaysia you are going. Places like Langkawi, Hotel Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi (604-955-1001 fax 604-955-1122, Pangkor Laut Resort in Perak(605-699-1100, fax 605-699-1200)and Holiday Villa Langkawi 9604-955-1701 fax 955-1504)are some of the popular one. If you tell me, i might be able to help you.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on Penang in 1991 for ten days.
Despite the fact that we had to take antimalarial
medication all the while we were there we would both
return if we had the opportunity.

Thanks for the reply,
I am thinking about the islands off the north east coast. The Perhantian Islands or maybe Redang Island. I understand that they are very quiet & undeveloped. Any thoughts?

Judy,

You can get to Pulau Tioman taking a plane straight from Kuala Lumpur(the capital). The name of the airline is Pelangi Air.
