REX AIR?????????

Can someone reassure me of any smaller airline companies that fly domestically in Australia??
I am looking into flying from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island and comparing flights to ferry.
Is REX known to be timely, reliable, good???
Any others I should consider??
Thanks

Rex is an excellent airline. Long & well established.

There appears to be another, Air South flying Adelaide - Kingscote (Kangaroo Island). www.airsouth.com.au

I have flown them regularly for work and they are fine.Just keep in mind that they are small planes and therefore quite strict in terms of luggage weight .Some planes do not have overhead lockers etc so do pack whatever you can in your checked on baggage .

JohnFitz,
I think they'd probably run Dash8s or similar on that leg, wouldn't they? I had a look but couldn't find this info on their website.

I think they're a great group and without them we certainly wouldn't have the country coverage we have.
God forbid the national carrier would have some gov't pressure to provide a service outside the convenient & profitable ports!

Rex is great -smallish aircraft, lovely crew serving drinks and refreshements.

I am a nervous flyer but am very comfortable with rex - mainly flew to Dubbo and Balina

Bokhara you are right - Dash8 and Saab . The only thing I dislike is flying in Summer as the air conditioning on board is hopeless and after the plane has sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes or less it is like a sauna .
