Reward Programs on Australian / New Zealand Hotels

Hi,
My husband and I are going to be in Australia and New Zealand for 28 days and wonder if there is any chain of hotels that may offer a discount if we stay in their hotels as we travel. Does anyone know of any?
Thanks,
NVGARY

Go on www.wotif.com.au and look up the hotels for say, Sydney to see what hotels we have and check their websites. I personally have Starwards and Best Western but I would not suggest either of those for what you want unless you are staying in major capital cities for your whole trip.

I think "ivenot..." is right; in my experience, Wotif is just as good as any of the loyalty programs & has a much wider reach.

Hi nvgary

I just googled 'hotel loyalty programs australia' and came up with quite a list of options with a number of different hotel chains.

You may need to check whether a particular chain has accommodation where you need it - most cover the capital cities, but not so many in regional areas. Di

Best Western used to offer discounts if you booked from one motel to the next - if you want to stay in Best Westerns (not that there's anything wrong with them, there certainly isn't), you'd have to check out their website to see what they offer nowadays.

Millenium/Copthorne runs a lot of specials direct from their website, they're sort of corporate hotels but there are a lot of them. Do be aware that they nickel and dime you for things like wifi. They have a loyalty club.

Thank you all so much. I'll check out your suggestions.
