how does one go about making reservations in sydney for restaurants. I would like to eat at tsyuas one night and 41 the other night. we will be in sydney on Monday May26th and Tuesday May27th. Are these restaurants open on monday nights and when do you think we should make the reservations and how do we get in touch with them to make them. thanks Bruce

Bruce<BR><BR>In Australia we generally just telephone the restaurants. I have never used an on-line booking agent or email but it probably can be done. You could get the hotel at which you are staying to make the booking. You can get phone numbers for all Australian businesses from www.whitepages.com.au or www.yellowpages.com.au. The whitepages is for residential and business numbers and the yellow pages is just business numbers. Tetsuya's is not open on Monday nights, I have never been to 41 so I can't say. The electronic yellow pages will include a web site or email address if the company has listed one. You will enjoy eating in Sydney, esp. Tetsuya's.

For Tetsuya's you need to make reservations well in advance, I believe you need to call exactly six weeks to the day before you want your reservation. The number is 612 9267 2900.

We just got back from Sydney 2 days ago and we dined at both Tetsuya's &amp; 41. Both were wonderful! We made reservations for Tetsuya's about 4 weeks in advance and the weekend was completely booked so we settled for a Wednesday night. Also dined at 41 (which is actually of the 42nd floor) on a Monday night - excellent views!
