5 days in March, 2014. Recommendations for lodging, activities? Mid-60's couple, fit, good walkers/hikers. Enjoy history, culture, food

It is a long time since I went - about twenty years, but there was heaps to see and do. There is/was two round island buses on went clockwise on the hour and one went anti clockwise on the half hour. They will get you to most places.

There is lovely snorkelling, the Maori village was very good with hands on activities. Cultural shows in the evenings. Boat trip on the lagoon.

There was horse riding and walks.

Did the 1-day trip to Aitutaki back in 2004. Really enjoyed it. Loved the Cook Islands!
