Going to book flight from Cairns to Adelaide for April 2, 2007 USA at $334.00 AU since flights are somewhat limited and know about Virgin Blue at $199 but 3.5 hour layover.

When does Qantas run their flight specials normally for this route or if I like it should I just book?

you can never ever rely on ANY airline to post specials on any sort of schedule. Just about the time you think you have them figured out, they'll fool you!

Rule of Thumb: If you find a flight that works for you, and has a good fare - BOOK IT. (and don't drive yourself crazy afterwards by checking it 3 months later and finding out you could have saved $45!) :)

webjet.com.au lowest fare for 2 with Qantas is $A347 so you have done pretty well. Qantas flight specials are usually Dec. Jan. the big holiday season here, but can be anytime. That price is good and Virgin Blue of course better.

Get yourself on the Qantas mailing list. And then wait for specials. Although, as I think we discussed before, your timing is around Easter - and there may not be any specials :(

Qantas has alot of entertainment to keep you busy on the flights.
