Princess Cruise
 

Has anyone taken the Princess Cruise that starts in Sydney and ends in Auckland. Any advice re: time in Sydney and Auckland, tours not to take. Any insite appreciated.

Yep did this last Christmas/New Year on the Sapphire Princess. I have written a ports of call review, you can read it on Cruise Critic forums, Aus/NZ ports of call board. After reading my review post any further questions you have and I will try to answer them.

The Diamond is exactly the same as the Sapphire so any questions about the ship I can try to answer as well.

When is your cruise? Is it just a cruies or do you have other things planed?
I have a cruise booked on the Diamond in March of 2006 with 4 days in Sydney befor cruise and 3 days in Auckland after the cruise.

We are staying a day and a half in Sydney and the same in Auckland. Do you have any recommendations for hotels in either city and highlights in either city. Our time is limited to these number of days.

If you can give us an idea of your budget and interests, we can give you some ideas for hotels and activities. Sounds like a fun cruise!
