Port Douglas/Cairns

Our trip to Port Douglas is coming up, we arrive on July 22nd. I am looking at things to do, and one of them was the drive to Cape Tribulation on one of the days. Then I was looking at the Atholton Tablelands which I thought we would do from Cairns. We are staying there for two nights the last two days of our trip. From what I have been reading though Cape Tribulation is part of the Tablelands so could be back-tracking. Any suggestions.

Also any other tips on things to do. I think we are going to do the ReefSprinter 1/2 day tour to the Low Isles and Island, as we are not very confident in the water, and only 14 people per trip.

Cape Trib is to the north of PD, a different direction to the Atherton Tablelands.

You could make your trip from PD back to Cairns via the Tablelands.

Visit Palm Cove on your way from Cairns to PD - such a pretty place. And don't forget the Sunday market at Port Douglas.
