please help I only have 4 1/2 days to spend in brisbane, gold coast and sunshine coast.

1) brisbane - queen st mall, australian woolshed, lone pine sanctuary

2) goldcoast - currumbin wildlife, sea world, wb movie world, dreamworld, walk around surfer's paradise

3) sunshine coast - big pineapple, underwater world,

what do everyone think? Are all these attractions a really must see? I am planning to join the local tour for brisbane and sunshine coast.

Skip the Queen Street Mall and ride the bus all over Brisbane. Take a rivercat along the river for as far as you can. Go to the museum or see a concert. Find an Aussie Rules football game and ask the locals sitting next to you to explain how it all works. Go toPaddington and walk from Latrobe Terrace down into the city. Check out St. John's Cathedral and llok at all the old photos along the hallways. See Mt. Cootha at night. See Mt. Cootha during the day. Have fun!

hi moneygurl: thanks for your suggestion. I will change my itinerary I wont go to gold coast anymore since I am not interested with the beaches but rather go to noosa to see springbrook and natural arch, fraser island, tangaloma wild life resort. I am more into the nature stuff. Any other suggestions?

valen, in you last post you mention skipping the Gold Coast and going to Noosa to see places like Natural Arch and Sprinbrook. These places are actually just behind the Gold Coast, not near Noosa. The Gold Coast Hinterland and down into northern NSW is superb.

hello mpoll, thanks for replying. have you been to springbrook natural arch? I am planning to join the local tour in brisbane to go there. Is that place really that beautiful? I really can't decide between springbrook, fraser island and mt tamborine. Since I only have 4 nights there. But I am definitely going to tanga, heard that it is a lovely place.
