Philippines for month of december
Looking for quality"Tourist level hotels" in Manila and Cebu. Also any other suggestions you might offer. |
Hello Robert,
I would suggest Hotel Soriente, Flores Street/J.Bocobo Street, Ermita, Manila Tel: 599133 (telephone-number may have changed/ double room around 800 Pesos) or Hotel Rothman Inn, 1633-35 Adriatico Street, Malate, Manila Tel: 5219251 or Fax 5222606, double room around 900-1000 Pesos. Both hotels are located in the former redlight-district of Manila close to the famous Roxas Boulevard. Today there are no more nightclubs and girlie-bars in the surrounding. A taxi from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Soriente should not cost more than 150 Pesos. For more information about Manila, please contact me. |

A good place in Cebu City is Myrna's Pension House. Its located on a side street one block from West Gorodo. Nice rooms with sky cable t.v, friendly staff, and located great. Around the corner from the US Consulate which has an Atm out front and only about 5 block from the superb Ayala Mall. Rooms go for about $20 a night.
