Perth worth a visit..

Is Perth worth visiting for a week or 10 days ?.I'm looking to travel around March/April time next year.

I'm going in December, Miami to London to Perth. Check the website www.easyrider.com. I located a budget tour up to Monkey Mia.

Wally, why Miami, London to Perth, is it a lot cheaper going east instead of west?

Christmas to New Year's is considered very high season. It is a 12 hour time change from Florida to Perth (now an 11-hour since we ended daylight savings time). But anyway, British Airways and Qantas were $500 cheaper than American and Qantas, and British Airways doesn't have food for purchase and $5.00 drinks like American. Connections are actually better but I will spend one more hour on the plane. My ticket was $2,220.00 leaving Miami on Dec. 16 and leaving Australia on Jan. 1 around 5:00 p.m. Guess I'll have to recover on the plane.

Flying from Sydney to Perth can be quite expensive as it is a long distance.

BTW, the web site was www.easyridertours.com.au I plan to take the ferry to Rottnest Island and bicycle around, and take the tour up to Monkey Mia.
