Peak Season Booking
 

Hi there!

I'm going to be in Tahiti from July 10-17 for the Heiva festival - in other words, THE peak season and time in Tahiti. I would like to do and book adventure activities while I'm there (scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, off-road trekking/jeep excursions, etc) but I also want to be as spontaneous as possible, leaving room for happy "misadventures" and serendipities while I'm there.

What I would like to do is book excursions, on the spur of the moment, while I'm there. However, I'm afraid that if I wait till the last minute everything will be already booked, and I'll miss out on everything.

Does anyone have experience with the peak peak season? Is it OK to wait to book day of?
