Palau Snorkeling vs. Indonesia vs. Thailand

We are avid snorkelers and have been to Bunaken, Komodo, Togean in Indonesia; Fiji, Redang and Prehentian Islands off Malaysia, Great Barrier off Lizard Island, Fiji, Belize, Honduras/Roatan and many other Caribbean Islands. We were not that impressed with Fiji, Belize or Roatanor or the other Caribbean Islands, i.e. St.John. compared to the others mentioned above.
We are ready to take a trip to Palau to spend 10 days snorkeling in the Rock Islands and out at the reef and a bit beyond. Some will be done by our chartering a motor boat and a few trips by kayak.
Is Palau as good in variety of coral, fish species and sea anenomes and colors as Indonesia and/or Malaysia? We have to travel 24 hours to get there so we want to assure ourselves that it is the highest quality, other than maybe Raja Ampat, or Papau New Guinea, and hopefully a little different. We are aware of Jelly Fish Lake and were in one small one on the Malaysian peninsula and found it interesting but vibrant colored corals (hard and soft) and a wide variety of fish in depths of 5-15 feet is our primary interest. HELP.

I have seen some photos of a friend who visited Palau and also looked myself on google images and they don't disappoint. Looks incredible! I am very jealous! Enjoy.
