Palau kayaking and snorkeling

January 2018 we spent 8 days Kayaking and snorkeling in Palau
We booked through Boundless Journeys but the trip was organized by Rock Island kayak expeditions.

We were met at the airport by Macstyl our Kayak guide and transferred to our hotel. The Palau Pacific Resort.

The Resort was beautiful. So glad we added 2 days to the beginning and end of our kayaking trip to chill at the resort. The best breakfast of any resort we have ever stayed at.
Snorkelling was excellent right off the beach.

We camped for 2 nights on three different Islands. Our tents and camp were set up and taken down by the crew. Rachel the cook made amazing meals.
We would kayak and snorkel each day. The kayaking was not strenuous and the Islands were beautiful. The sun was very strong so it was important to be covered up. Long sleeve sun shirts and pareau over our legs while kayaking.

The snorkeling was incredible! We have snorkelled in Hawaii, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and the Great Barrier Reef and this was the best ever.

There were 7 of us in the group total, not too many.
Rock Island Expeditions did such an amazing job. The people of Palau were so nice.. it was definitely worth the long trip to get there from Canada.
i can’t wait to go back this time with my family.
