Oops -- the REAL Links to Songdoc's Australia & NZ Pix
Sorry about that. I think the fault was mine -- not Kodak's :-(

Thanks. I couldn't believe how beautiful that area is.

Great pix Songdoc. Yes, you don't come to OZ for the Castles & Cathederals, but fair dinkum our scenery is hard to beat and you have captured it perfectly!

Loved the pics, Songdoc.
Did you have some fish at the Fishermen's Wharf in Woy Woy? Spike Milligan, whose grandparents & parents retired to Woy Woy, spent some time there and famously called it, "The biggest above ground cemetery in the world". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Milligan Very possibly - but it's a lovely spot for a visit. Especially if you take the postman's ferry from Palm Beach. |

No. But maybe I smelled like tuna ;-). Those pelicans were INCREDIBLE. They're massive compared the varieties I've seen elsewhere. They seemed to love the chips someone else was feeding them--but that's probably not healthy for them (or us!). Especially if you take the postman's ferry from Palm Beach. I won't mention that quote to my friend who lives in Woy Woy. FYI, I got a T-shirt that says: New York London Woy Woy I thought it was lovely and enjoyed lunch at an organic cafe followed by pelicans and a stroll along the waterfront. But, I certainly wouldn't plan a special trip there. Enjoyed the ferry to Palm Beach, and a long walk there, too. |
